Integrated Drill Station
A complete drilling station, motor included.
The D1 is the U1's argument turned inside out: instead of holding a drill you already own, it arrives as one machine. The motor, column, lever and base are a single assembly, and an external controller sets the speed.
That matters for small work. A cordless drill has a trigger tuned for driving screws, not for feeding a 1 mm bit into acrylic. A separate speed controller lets the same station run slowly enough for plastics and fast enough for softwood.
It is the heavier of the two drilling systems at 3 kg, most of which sits in the base.
