Cast iron, four bolts, no drift.
A cast-iron drill press vise for work that pushes back. Where the V1 handles small parts, the V2 is the one bolted under a drilling station when the bit is about to grab.
Four mounting points let it be squared to the column once and left there, which is the difference between a vise that helps and one that has to be re-aligned every time.
