The P1 action, over a larger working area.
The P2 is the next size up in the P series. It carries the same pressing action as the P1 over a larger working area, for panels and assemblies that will not fit under the smaller frame.
The column is a slotted aluminium extrusion rather than a round post, and the carriage clamps anywhere along it. That is what buys the extra height: the iron can be set well above the base for a tall assembly, then brought back down for a flat panel, without changing anything else.
Pressing capacity and frame material are still being verified with the manufacturer and are deliberately not stated here.
